On the show this week I am empowering women through sport with my guest Chrissy Stragisher. Chrissy is an entrepreneur, coach, and life strategist. For over two decades, she has influenced the lives of female athletes, everyday women, and young boys and girls through her motivational speeches, videos and training programs.

As a former strength and conditioning coach for the WNBA’s San Antonio Stars, she knows first-hand what it takes to help people reach their highest potential and on the show we do just that. Chrissy unlocks the K.E.Y strategy she uses to help women live a life of resilience, power and fulfilment. We talk about getting knocked down and rising up, how life’s hardships can be reframed and Chrissy shares with us what she learnt through coaching Olympians and WNBA stars.

On She Speaks Sport, I am joined by Egyptian Basketball player Jana Abdullah who played D! basketball at the University of Cincinnati and is now playing in the Netherlands.

Jana joins me to talk about her journey in basketball, the coaches and mentors who have helped her on her journey and how she overcame bullying and hardships to become a professional basketball player. We also talk about the real MVP in her life, how she prepares for each game, her personal transformation to reach her basketball dream and the state of women’s basketball in Egypt and on the African continent. Jana is an inspiring woman determined to make an impact on the court, tune in to connect with her journey.

Head coach Liz Mills is a phenomenal woman of firsts. She is the first woman to coach in the Basketball Africa League (BAL), the first woman to lead a men’s national team at the FIBA continental championship, and the first woman to lead a men’s club team in Morocco.
Liz joins me to talk about her journey to becoming the first female head coach in the basketball Africa league, as well as the journey to lead a men’s club in the Arab world.
